TRAILER: Michael Jackson’s “This Is It”!
The trailer for This Is It – the documentary capturing rehearsal footage for what would have been Michael Jackson’s epic return to the stage – premiered as the finale of the 2009 Video Music Awards. For those who don’t know, “This Is It” was a planned series of 50 concerts by the King of Pop to be held at the The O2 arena in London. They were scheduled to begin in July 2009 and continue through March 2010. Less than three weeks before the first show was due to begin and with all concerts being sold out, Jackson died of a cardiac arrest. The preview shows what fans can expect on October 28th when the film hits theaters for a two week run.
