Fall Fashion Preview: Runway Recap
Having entered August it is time to start thinking about updating your fall and winter clothing. The runways are a good place to start with what will be hitting the shelves soon if not already for fall and winter. I have scoured the looks to find the major trends that will be big for the rest of this year.
The huge piece of this season is dresses. The runway showed a great variety, too. Short sleeved, long sleeved, strapless, one shoulder, turtleneck, and cowl neck were all shown. There were only a few outfits with pants that took the runway, so stock up on dresses!
Jackets and Coats were also important staples in every show. Trench, oversize, military, slim fitting, and boleros or shrugs were all seen on the runway. For outdoor coats oversize is in and for indoor jackets slim fitting is the way to go.
Some other trends for fall and winter are cutouts, big shoulders, baggy pieces, deep v-necks, and sweaters. Most of these trends can be seen in shirts, dresses, or pants. They are not limited to one specific type of clothing.
It seems like a lot of designers have drawn from the 80’s in their new lines, but with much subdued colors.
Here are some of the looks that were on the runway:
- Quinta Brunson Files For Divorce From Husband Kevin Jay Anik: Here’s What We Know
- Jonathan Majors Sheds Tears While Talking About He And Meagan Good’s Marriage
- Megan Thee Stallion’s Copper Hair Is Absolutely ‘Bonita’ In New Instagram Post
- I Was Honored At The SuperMom Mission Gala With These Other Powerhouse Black Mothers
- Teyana Taylor Said What She Said, Claps Back At Divorce Commentary
Check back the rest of the week for color trends, shoe trends, accessory trends, and how you can get the look!
Cutouts are even seen in shoes!
