How To Switch Your Living Room To Summer Decor
Switch Your Living Room To Summer Decor
A room that looked cozy and warm in December, now feels stuffy and dark. Here are some tip on how to lighten up your living room for the spring and summer months:
Brighten the Room for Summer With PaintÂ
If you have a few dollars to spend, a gallon of white or pale green paint on the walls will a room pop instantly.
Clear the bookshelves of the many little items that “grew” there over the winter. (I recently did this and it makes a big difference) Instead of multiple small photos in metal frames, place one or two larger photos or art works in a simple arrangement, leaning against the wall or each other in a casual way.Â
3 tips to an organized living room.
Add fresh flowers.  You can get an inexpensive bouquet from your local supermarket or farmer’s market.
Replace heavy curtains with sheers and keep the windows sparkling clean. Take half the books off a bookshelf and stack the remaining ones in small piles of varying heights for a surprising look of casual cleverness.
