Cassie Reveals Beauty Icon & Secrets At Carol's Daughter Launch

While you may question her talent, there’s no denying that Cassie is a beautiful girl. Some people wish she’d stick to modeling, instead of singing, so for those folks, we’ve got a few of Cassie’s beauty and style tips courtesy of the YBF.

As the spokeswoman of Carol’s Daughter (alongside Solange and Selita Ebanks), Cassie attended the launch of the Monoi Repairing collection where she asked a few questions.

On growing her hair back out:

“Everyone wants to know! I will at some point, I was actually thinking about it recently. I’m not ready, because I just shaved the other side. And I want to live a little bit, I feel like you’re only young once and you can’t wear this everyday.”

On her natural curls:

“[I don’t] let everybody see my curls,” but she’ll rock them when she’s just “chillin’.”

On make-up and keeping her skin flawless:

“I think the thing for me is that I feel undone when my nails aren’t done. My hands, my feet, and I also need something on my lips. Some gloss or something. … ALWAYS wash your face at night! I know a lot of people say they do, but they don’t. It’s important to drink water, drink A LOT of water.”

“Curling my lashes and pinching my cheeks.”

On her beauty icon:

“Jennifer Lopez—she always tries new things.”
