Usher Does "1,000 Crunches" To Prepare For Essence Festival Performance
Usher headlined his first Essence Music Festival in New Orleans this weekend. Surprisingly this was Usher’s first time playing the main stage due to his hectic summer tour schedule over the past several years. Usher told the media he “did about 1000 crunches” to prepare for the show. He added, “I mean this is Essence, they expect you to bring it.” The heavily female crowd did not seem disappointed!
