2024 brought some amazing red carpet fashion from lots of our favorite Hollywood stars. We love a good red carpet moment because it allows stars and stylists to get creative and serves as fashion inspiration for us everyday folk, observing from our social media accounts.

This year, we watched the Black community’s niece shine on the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie, “Mufasa: The Lion King.” Blue Ivy snatched our edges in a gold Christian Siriano gown that overshadowed her very famous parents, Jay-Z and Beyonce. And while the pre-teen’s moment in the spotlight was beyond memorable, the family photo solidified this as one of our favorite red carpet moments of 2024.

There are many contenders worthy of topping our best-dressed list. In fact, a few people served countless looks that we couldn’t stop talking about. Kelly Rowland showed such a fashion range while dominating the red carpet. For example, her wardrobe for the “Mea Culpa” premieres highlighted the sexiness of her character while capturing the endearing girl-next-door qualities that she often exudes. During the New York premiere, Rolland delivered a sultry flex in a tweed AREA maxi jacket paired with caramel-colored hot pants.

And when life called for a bit of drama, the actress and singer effortlessly rose to the occasion, donning extravagant ball gowns that kept us chatting.
During the Fashion Trust Awards, the 43-year-old mother of two oozed glamor in a white Harbison Studio gown that featured a cutout on the torso, exaggerated balloon sleeves, and a train that elegantly pulled the entire look together.

But we can’t mention the Harbison Studio frock without talking about the starlet’s black and white Nina Ricci gown that she wore to the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Rowland can obviously do no wrong, which is why she is a no-brainer for our 2024 Best Red Fashion Moments list.

1. Zendaya Coleman at the 2024 Met Gala

There is no best-dressed list on the earth that does not include Zendaya Coleman. The talented actress would have an equally profitable career if she ever became a model. The statuesque beauty returned to the Met Gala carpet for the first time in five years, and she did it with ultimate flare. The “Euphoria” actress wore an edgy look, dressed in a custom green and blue Maison Margiela mermaid gown and custom Tabi pumps by Christian Louboutin for Margiela.
2. Zendaya at the “Dune: Part Two” World Premiere

Zendaya Coleman had two major movie premieres this year, and her red carpet fashion did not disappoint. For the world premiere of “Dune: Part Two,” the actress shut the carpet down in a robot suit designed by Thierry Mugler. Coleman is known to incorporate her movie’s theme into her wardrobe, and this futuristic interpretation of the film captured the sci-fi element perfectly.
3. Ciara at the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

Ciara’s post-baby body was the tea everyone sipped at the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. At approximately 10 weeks postpartum, the singer served mom-curves on a silver platter. Social Media fell in love with Thick Ciara, and so did we. Beyond the baby weight was the mother of four’s body-hugging, sexy, brown latex dress by Venus Prototypex.
4. Keke Palmer at the 2024 Met Gala Celebrating “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”

Keke Palmer had an endless number of noteworthy looks this year. Between her book tour and various promo runs, the multi-hyphenate delivered 90s-inspired outfits reminiscent of Robin Givens from the cult-classic film “Boomerang.” And while those looks kept us on our toes, her shimmery custom Marc Jacobs gown had our jaws dropped to the floor.
5. Teyana Taylor at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards

Teyana Taylor’s fashion range extends from one end of the spectrum to the other. On a day-to-day, you can count on the singer, dancer, actress, and director to showcase her androgynous swag, but when the occasion calls for some sass, she’s ready to execute. Not many can pull off this LaQuan Smith cutout dress, but Taylor did it without a hitch. She paired the look with a long, black, leather sterling trench coat.
6. Cardi B at the 2024 Met Gala Celebrating “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”

Cardi B has a very comfortable spot on the best-dressed lists. The rapper shuts down every carpet she attends, including the 2024 Met Gala. Her ensemble was the ultimate red carpet moment because her custom black tulle gown, designed by Sensen Lii of Windowsen, covered the entire courtyard of the event.
