Monica has had a steady and lengthy career, but she’s made it clear that her kids come first. During a recent interview, she talked about the upcoming General Mills Box Tops for Education town hall that she will be participating in with Steve Harvey and others at Morehouse College on March 15, a program that benefits children.
The town hall will also feature editor emeritus of Essence magazine Susan L. Taylor, Dr. Jacquelyn Jackson Fleming, president of LifeLearn Associates; Dr. Beverly D. Tatum, Spelman College President; Tommy Hillman, Box Tops for Education brand manager; Tisha Campbell-Martin, star from television series Martin and My Wife and Kids; and Chilli from five-time Grammy Award winning girl group TLC.
