Kobe Bryant’s Wife Files For Divorce
It’s game over for Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa. The Los Angeles Lakers star’s wife has filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.
According to TMZ, the split, which comes after more than 10 years of marriage, is allegedly due to Bryant’s cheating ways. While the couple reportedly has no pre-nup, Vanessa requested joint custody of their two young daughters with visitation rights for Bryant.
Bryant has already filed a response to the divorce petition, agreeing to pay his now-estranged wife spousal support.
Vanessa stood by Kobe’s side during his highly-publicized 2003 affair with a hotel attendant in Colorado, which resulted in sexual assault allegations that were later dropped, and other alleged affairs which are said to have taken place more recently.
This short NBA season is going to be a long one for Kobe!
