Prince William's Wedding Ring: There Won't Be One
Should Husbands Wear Wedding Rings? Prince William Won’t Be
Prince William will not be wearing a wedding ring after he marries longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton later this month.
“There is only going to be one ring, in accordance with the couple’s wishes,” a source told PEOPLE.
Kate Middleton will have a wedding band, and it will be made from a tiny amount of Welsh gold mined from the mountains. It has been kept in the royal vaults since originally presented to William’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth.
We would have been more likely to agree with this decision had it been part of a tradition or something, but it’s not – William’s father Prince Charles wears a wedding ring.
