We just knew that, for her next video, Rihanna would push the envelope. After all, she was singing about being attracted to another woman.

Then she said “Te amo” / then she put her hand around me waist / I told her “No” / She cried “Te amo” / I told her “I’m not gonna run away, but let me go” / My soul has arrived / Without asking why / I said “Te amo” / Wish somebody would tell me what she said / Don’t it mean “I love you.”
She even chose French Victoria’s Secret model Laetitia Casta to be her leading lady.
Directed by Anthony Mandler, “Te Amo” was shot in Paris; some scenes outside the 15th century Château de Vigny.
