Halle Berry Child Custody Battle Forces Her To Drop Out Of Play
Halle Berry Drops Out Of Broadway Role Due To Custody Battle
Halle Berry’s child custody battle with her ex Gabriel Aubry is heating up and she’s not trying to keep it a secret. Halle was supposed to be taking on a role in “The Mountaintop,” a Broadway play about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but producers have said otherwise.
In a statement, producers said, “Ms. Berry would not be appearing in the role due to child-custody issues.”
The play is an imagined account of the night before Dr. King’s assassination. Halle was supposed to play Camae, a hotel maid at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. SOURCE
