Beyonce's New, Revamped "Countdown" Video Missing "Stolen" Dance Moves
Beyonce’s “Countdown” video caused the singer a bit of a headache last month when she was accused of stealing many of the dance moves from Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.
Despite Bey promising that she simply used Kerrsmaeker’s moves as “inspiration,” the choreographer wasn’t buying it, saying: “This is plagiarism. This is stealing…It’s a bit rude.”
It seems Bey has since backed down. The new, alternate version of her “Countdown” video features none of the scenes in question. The footage of her outside of a dance studio, as well as of her dancing in an all-black outfit are mysteriously missing and have been replaced with more images of her in sheer men’s style shirts.
