Oprah Gets Dumped!
Someone just pissed Oprah off!! Oprah Winfrey was just rejected by Jenny McCarthy, who had signed a development deal in 2009 to create a series for OWN. Jenny is leaving the network and taking her show concept to NBC, a source tells Fox News.
“Jenny wasn’t thrilled with the direction that OWN producers were going with on the show,” the source says, so McCarthy “finally decided to embrace Oprah’s philosophy, which is to ‘follow your bliss.’ Well, Jenny followed her bliss and walked right off the project.” An OWN rep confirms McCarthy’s departure.
An OWN rep confirmed the sudden development to Fox411.
“OWN does not have a show in development with Jenny McCarthy,” the rep said.
And it gets worse, McCarthy has now taken the concept for the show she developed for OWN to NBC to produce. OUCH!
