Halle Berry Cancels Oscar Appearance, Blames Broken Foot
Halle Berry, who was set to present at the 84th annual Academy Awards ceremony, has canceled her appearance because of her broken foot. The NY Daily News is reporting that Halle, who broke her foot while in Spain last fall, had to cancel showing up as a presenter at the awards ceremony tonight because of the injury.
The accident occurred on a day off from shooting the movie Cloud Atlas. Halle was chasing after her 3½-year-old daughter Nahla, who was chasing after a goat across a stretch of rocky countryside.
