Idris Elba Heads To “The Big C”
Idris Elba will have a recurring role on Showtime’s series “The Big C.” Idris will play a potential love interest for Laura Linney’s character.
The series premieres tonight on Showtime. Elba will play a painter who meets Cathy (Laura Linney), a suburban mother and high school teacher with cancer. The series also stars Oscar nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe and Oliver Platt as Linney’s husband.
