6. Donna Summer: December 31, 1948 – May 17, 2012
The Queen of Disco kept us dancing many years with mega hits "Hot Stuff," "Love to Love You, Baby," "She Works Hard for the Money" and "Bad Girls" (to name a few). Donna succumbed to lung cancer at her Naples, Florida home. She will forever be remembered for her infectious dance songs and fabulous disco fashion.
