The leaves are changing colors, the air is chilly and pumpkin spice is definitely the flavor of the month. It’s official: fall is here! And you know what that means: Halloween is around the corner. Aside from carving pumpkins and picking out your sexy and scary Halloween costumes, this time of year is perfect for one thing: Halloween specials from our favorite television shows!

Remember the Halloween episode of “The Parkers” when Kim and her friends were trapped in a haunted house that she thought was her birthday party? Or the Halloween episode of “Martin” when Martin and Gina thought they were buying a home to live in but it turned out to be haunted!?
Who could forget those classics? Not us! Get your candy and popcorn ready and let’s take a trip down memory lane as we revisit some of our favorite sitcom’s Halloween specials.
1. “Living Single” – “Trick or Trust”
The whole “Living Single” crew was busy getting into the Halloween spirit, except for Maxine who thought the whole day was a bit childish and annoying. The crew attempted to scare her straight but it didn’t work, she was completely immune to Halloween and all their foolery!
2. “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” – “Hex & The Single Guy”
When Will and the family went for a seance so Hilary could contact her dead fiance, things got weird. The man placed a hex on the family and especially Will since he didn’t believe in the man’s powers and the whole family went crazy!
And then, Hilary fell in love with Jazz!
Totally one of our favorite episodes.
3. “Martin” – “Boo’s In The House”
This Halloween episode of “Martin” still cracks us up to this day! Martin and Gina decided to purchase a new home and were planning on visiting the home on Halloween, along with Tommy, Cole and Pam. They were in for a rude awakening when they found out that the house was haunted and kidnapping all of them one by one. Damn Gina!
4. “Sister, Sister” – “Halloween Party”
Remember the episode of “Sister Sister” when Ray and Lisa forbade Tia and Tamera from attending their friend’s Halloween party? That didn’t stop the girls however, as they went to the party anyway and in turn were in for a huge adventure!
5. “Moesha” – “Kim’s Revenge”
When Kim overheard Mo and Neicey making jokes about her weight behind her back, Kim was hurt and decided not to go along with their group costume theme and instead show up to the Halloween party with her boo as a “she-devil.” It wasn’t until Kim’s boyfriend told Moesha and Neicey why Kim wasn’t speaking to them at the Halloween party did they realize they made a huge mistake. Finally, the girls got together and realized they were ALL guilty of gossiping behind each other’s backs. All ended on a warm and fuzzy note as the girls apologized and promised to be best friends again!
