Jennifer Lopez surprised audience members on Monday night when she appeared on George Lopez’s late-night talk show, not as a guest, but as the host.

She did a round of standup comedy, replacing George during the show’s opening monologue, but mimicked much of his body language, facial expressions, and frequent use of “Spanglish.”

She took jabs at Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien (who were recently in the middle of a media-scrutinized late-night talkshow shuffle and shake-up), saying: “Welcome to ‘Lopez Tonight,’ where nobody gets fired, they just get replaced by a bigger star with the same last name.”

Do you think she has what it takes to have her own show?
