Viola Davis just received her first-ever wax figure at Madame Tussauds, and her reaction was everything. Humble, joyful, and clearly moved, Viola reminded us once again why we love her.

She posted the moment to Instagram on April 9, and it was the kind of good energy we need on our feeds.

Viola walked into the reveal room wearing a monochromatic burgundy look that gave both sophistication and trend. She paired a burgundy leather bomber jacket with a matching dress that featured a flouncy, knee-length skirt. The How To Get Away with Murder star completed her look with burgundy slingback heels and a sleek, shoulder-length bob.

However, her wax figure, which captures her unforgettable 2017 Oscars red carpet look, was the moment. The statue donned Viola’s stunning red Armani gown—with its halter neckline, off-the-shoulder detailing, and flowing train. Viola rocked a short cut with soft bangs and glam for hair and makeup.

Looking at her wax twin, Viola was emotional.

“I mean, she looks alive. My teeth, my lips…This dress, I believe, is Armani. But just more than the Armani…it’s like a dream I had when I was 28, when I was looking at myself in the subway station,” she said to the cameras.

“This is just like—there are signs in your life where you feel worthy, which helps the inside feel worthy. I keep saying that saying of, ‘your purpose is not what you do, it’s what happens to people when you do what you do,’ and sometimes the people that it happens to is you.”

Viola Davis continues to inspire generations through her power, talent, style, and humility—give her her flowers!

The unveiling comes as Viola promotes her upcoming action thriller G20, where she plays the President of the United States. (Yes, Madam President!)

In the film, her character protects her family and fellow world leaders when terrorists infiltrate the G20 summit in Cape Town, South Africa. The film also stars Anthony Anderson as her husband, First Gentleman Derek Sutton, and black-ish star Marsai Martin as their daughter Serena.

As she continues her press run, Viola’s not just promoting a movie—she’s embodying power, presence, and representation. Seeing her as POTUS and her wax figure standing tall is a reminder of what’s possible.

From subway dreams to playing the president to wax museums, Viola Davis is living proof. And yes, give her all the flowers—every single one.
