Alicia Keys Denim On Denim Look Is Fall-Fashion Approved

Alicia Keys hopped on her Instagram to give us some denim fall fashion style inspiration we didn’t know we needed. The songstress struck a fly pose in a dark blue denim look that we want in our closets – STAT!

Alicia Keys has always been a fashion girlie, and her recent post proves it. Her denim look by EB Denim is the perfect getup for stylishly embracing the fall weather. It featured a classic denim jacket with shoulder pads, gold stitching, and a gold zipper. The artist paired the look with high-waisted matching jeans adorned with pockets on the thigh area and legs and overlapping material on the knees for extra pizazz. 

Keys rocked her swaggy outfit with a shimmery gold mock turtleneck top and beige pointy-toe heels. The “You Don’t Know My Name” crooner sported her hair in her signature braided style and pulled back to reveal her softly beat, gorgeous face. Her accessories included an elaborate emerald ring.

Keys is no stranger to slaying a denim-on-denim look. Since her debut in the early aughts, the Hell’s Kitchen, NY native has led the low-rider denim trend. With her edgy yet feminine aura and soulful tunes, she changed the trajectory of both music and fashion. Fast-forward years later, and the mother-of-two is staying true to her fly-girl New York style aesthetic.

We admire Key’s authenticity in her style and art. Despite the misogyny that is ever-present in the music industry, the multihyphenate is taking a radical stance by being herself, and that’s powerful. We can’t wait to see what she does next!
