Chloe Bailey Brings The Heat To St. Lucia Carnival 2024

Chloe Bailey hit the Caribbean for a little “Jump and Wave” action during St. Lucia Carnival 2024. The sultry songbird posted a carousel of photos, showing off her bodacious curves in a vibrant, rainbow costume that featured an elaborate, multi-colored headdress which perfectly framed her face.

One thing’s for sure, and two things for certain: Bailey is going to slay a carnival costume with little to no effort. Draped in colorful jewels that hugged every curve on her body, the “Have Mercy” crooner showed the beauty of carnival culture.

“Queen of hearts at carnival!!!! my favorite time of year!!!!!” she captioned her post.

Social media users praised the singer in the comment section, including some of Bailey’s peers.

“you look GOOD girl! && those buns are bangin 😂😮‍💨,” Queen Naija wrote.

“You look beautiful! 💙🔥,” reggae artist Shenseea wrote.

The singer attended her first St. Lucia carnival in 2023. In an Instagram post, Bailey said she “had the best time of my entire life” at the Caribbean fete.

She enjoyed it so much that she returned to the beautiful island for another opportunity to shake what her mama gave her.

Carnival takes place all over the world, but it is mostly popular in places like Brazil, Trinidad & Tobago, Toronto, St. Lucia, Barbados, and New Orleans. Each region has its own unique history regarding the annual celebration, but they all have one thing in common. The costumes, strongly influenced by African culture, reflect the history of the slave trade, tribal or spiritual practices, and a sense of freedom.

Every detail on the costume serves a purpose, down to the feathers. According to Rio Carnival, “Feathers were also used in many of the African costumes and this symbolized rebirth and the rise of the spirits which are also important components of the modern day Brazilian carnival.”
