#TeamBeautiful recently had the incredible experience to take #BlackGirlMagic to a whole new level when our brother brand Cassius transformed our entire team into digital dolls for an amazing style feature.
The shoot was all about empowerment, being unapologetic and lots of glamour. Cassius’ amazing style team, led by Executive Director of Style & Special Projects Marielle Bobo, gave each of us a different, individual high-fashion look.
“The inspiration for the shoot was all things glam, fantasy and over the top,” Bobo said. “Each editor is a themed doll, so it was just all the things that you dream of that you never really get to see every day. That’s what we’re going to bring you in the shoot.”
The beauty looks included over the top makeup like purple contours and glittery eyes as well as fabulously exaggerated wigs and hair.
“I love that I get to shoot with my entire team,” Style & Beauty Editor Danielle James said. “So, it’s going to be super exciting today.
“It’s really about feeling good about yourself and feeling as beautiful and loving yourself whether you have a wig cap on or you’re all done up and glam,” Editorial Director Allison McGevna said.
