‘Being Mary Jane’ To Return This Summer With Additional 10 Episodes For Current Season
If you were preparing yourself to say goodbye after the season finale of the BET hit series Being Mary Jane…surprise! The show will be back sooner than expected.

BET has confirmed that Being Mary Jane will return on July 18 for a 10-episode second half of the current fourth season.
Shadow and Act has the exclusive details about the announcement, which was somewhat surprising given the multi-million dollar lawsuit star Gabrielle Union filed against BET last fall. Although legally things were worked out between Union and the network and they settled for an undisclosed amount, there had been no official word on when or if a fifth season was in the works.
These 10 extra episodes still leave viewers unsure about the future of the show—but at least they can wonder as they watch.
