WorldStarHipHop Founder Lee ‘Q’ O’Denat Dead At 43

Lee “Q” O’Denat, the face and founder of the successful viral video and music website WorldStarHipHop has died at the age of 43, according to multiple reports.
According to TMZ, Q died in his sleep on Monday night, reportedly from a heart attack. Final details were unavailable as of press time, but an autopsy is scheduled for later today.
The Queens, New York native started WorldStarHipHop in 2005 as a platform for mixtapes. But as the site grew in popularity, it became known for its fight clips, music video premieres and other viral content.
Just days ago, MTV-2 announced a partnership with WorldStar, revealing the site would have a show on the network, set to debut February 3. It was a testament to the popularity of the site, which, as Q told the New York Times in 2015, he wanted people to look at “as something that’s here to stay.”
