#TeamBeautiful hosted an exclusive screening of Roadside Pictures’ new film, Southside with You, in New York City last night and the stars were out in full effect.
In addition to the film’s stars Tika Sumpter and Parker Sawyers, our celeb friends Hill Harper, Malik Yoba, Ty Hunter, June Ambrose, OITNB‘s Vicky Jeudy, and Quantico‘s Pearl Thusi were all on hand to celebrate the release of the new film.
Tika, who plays Michelle Obama, and Parker, who plays Barack Obama, joined director Richard Tanne for Q&A about the film, the importance of Black love in the Hollywood narrative, and, of course, the legacy of the Obamas.
