Lawana Lamone, 19, of South Philadelphia, is missing and police are asking for help in locating the young woman who is believed to be in danger.

[Lamone] last spoke with her mother about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, according to police, and her mother has not been able to locate her since then. The teen’s mom told officers that her daughter has had suicidal tendencies in the past and was displaying signs of depression before she went missing.
Police released a photo of Lawana on Sunday on an endangered missing person flier and asked that anyone who has information on her whereabouts contact South Detective Division at 215-686-3013.
