David Banner 'Marry Me' Song
PREMIERE: David Banner’s ‘Marry Me’ Is The Perfect Romantic Rap Ballad
With hip-hop constantly labeling women “b*tches” and “hoes,” intellectual BAE David Banner has set out to mend the relationship between sexes using his music. His latest song “Marry Me” is a refreshing and forward-thinking rap ballad featuring romantic vocals by Rudy Currence.
“They say I’m an urban myth/ they say Black men don’t exist/ Prove them wrong why don’t you marry me,” Rudy sings over the hook.
“It is time to mend our public, personal, spiritual, and social relationship with our Women. The progression of our people is rooted in the secured strength and stability of that relationship,” Banner says.
The single will be featured on Banner’s upcoming album The God Box, which is due out at the top of 2016.
