The New ‘Suicide Squad’ Trailer Is Dark And Delightful
Warner Bros released the first trailer for the movie adaptation of DC Comics’ Suicide Squad, and it looks like it could be good. I’m not familiar with the comic book lore of this part of the DC Universe, so I can’t do the nerdy nitpick thing about what may be wrong with certain characters or plot lines, but so far I can dig it.
Suicide Squad is about a task force of formerly imprisoned supervillains who are organized into a secret task forced by the US government. The team undertakes high-risk missions for the government in exchange for amnesty.
As you saw, there’s a stellar line up of actors including Will Smith, Viola Davis, Jared Leto, Common and more.We’ll have to wait until next year, though, because it’s not scheduled to come out until August 5, 2016.
