George Zimmerman Assaults Girlfriend, Not Charged

On January 9, George Zimmerman was arrested for throwing a bottle of wine at his now on-again-off-again ex-girlfriend Brittany Brunelle during a heated exchange. But it was announced today that he will not be facing any charges for the assault because whenever Zimmerman commits a crime, he gets away with it.

Our reaction? Not this bull again! But reportedly, Brunelle recanted her statement against him, leading the courts to dismiss everything. Who would even date Zimmerman in the first place? We don’t want to say Brunelle’s got to be desperate, but…

The dispute between the two lovers happened in Lake Mary, Florida where Brunelle, a dental hygienist, threatened to break up with Zimmerman for good. While reports did not feature any physical violence from him, it was said that he behaved dangerously by throwing a bottle of wine in her direction and broke a cell phone. She then left his home on January 5 early in the morning and was noticed by an Orlando cop because she didn’t have her lights on. The official offense report stated:

“She advised that she had been in a verbal altercation over a painting, with George Zimmerman and that Zimmerman threw a bottle of wine in her direction when she attempted to leave.”

While it hasn’t been disclosed to why she has since gone against the allegations, she did inform the State Attorney’s Office she no longer cared to proceed with the aggravated-assault charges. She’s also denied a bottle being thrown at all. We’re shaking our heads.

In the original video of her talking to cops, she tearfully exclaimed “Why that man’s not locked up is beyond me,” also possibly referring to him found not guilty for murdering Trayvon Martin in 2012. Here’s hoping that in light of Zimmerman’s involvement (whom she once referred to as a psychopath”) that she made the right decision for herself.

The State Attorney Phil Archer also released a statement:

“While it is clear that the officers had probable cause to arrest Mr. Zimmerman which was affirmed by the circuit court judge at initial appearances, the subsequent recantation by the victim of her initial statement along with new documents provided by the victim and her attorney precludes my office from proceeding further.”

Zimmerman was literally in this same situation in late 2014, with another girlfriend, who also went to the police. How does this man, continue to get dates?
