Benzino & Althea Heart Fired From ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’

At least two members of the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” cast will not be back for another round.

Karlie Redd‘s going to have one less ex to deal with on season 4 because TheJasmineBrand.com reports that Benzino and his lady love Althea Heart have been cut from the cast. The decision comes after an explosive brawl between them and their former friends, Stevie J and Joseline.

The fight was so bad that both couples had to end their segment separately at a later date There are even rumors that, Stevie J and Joseline threatened not to return to “LHHATL,” if Benzino and his fiancée renewed their contracts for season 4.

Benzino confirmed the news of his dismissal today on Twitter during a rant, where he encouraged his fans to tell Mona Scott-Young how they really feel about the drastic casting change.

“If yall think that it’s fair to bring them back but not us, then let @MonaScottYoung #lhhatl & @VH1 know,” he wrote. “Me and BaeBae was ready to come back after givin an amazing season 3 which broke all @VH1 records, we was gonna get married season 4 After having a zillion failed ‘ENGAGEMENTS’ and ‘FAKE MARRIAGES’ they would finally want a REAL WEDDING….guess not.”

He added, “When somebody gets a real explanation on why we was fired, please let me know.”

Without him around, Benzino believes tha Stevie J and Joseline’s storyline–and, by extension, the show itself–will be severely lacking.
