Dawn Richard has made a pretty smooth transition from the fall of Danity Kane back into her solo career
Just last week, Danity Kane put out their post break-up album, “DK3”; today, Dawn dropped a hot new music video from her album “Blackheart,” which is due out in January.
Not to be confused with Beyoncé, Dawn released a video for her track “Blow” and dances around in a strappy bodysuit. Although this is a solo project, Dawn’s video is definitely giving us a dusting of Danity Kane–she even sings in the collective! “Them thots be talking s-it/Be in the club like liquor,” Dawn sings “We gon’ stay here longer/We gon’ be stronger/We ain’t goin’ nowhere/We gon’ make this thing blow.”
Although things ended badly for Danity Kane, we’re just glad to see Dawn bouncing back so quickly.
