Adrian Peterson Can’t Play With The Vikings…This Weekend

The Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was placed on the owners’ exempt list, which means he won’t be playing the game against the New Orleans Saints this weekend. Jay Onrait reported Vikings Owners Zygi Wilf and Mark Wilf’s statement on Fox Sports Live: “After careful consideration of the past two days, the team has decided to place Peterson on the exempt commissioner’s permission list, which means he’ll remain away from all team activities until the legal proceedings involving his child abuse case in Texas are resolved.”

He continues, “after further reflection, we have concluded that this resolution is best for the Vikings and for Adrian.”

The announcement comes just days after he posted a statement on Twitter, requesting privacy, even though some people, like Don Lemon, have started a conversations about instilling discipline in children. During a CNN segment Lemon didn’t condone Peterson’s actions, but he did mention that he had to get the switch off of the tree when he was a child. “If I brought back a switch that wasn’t big enough,” he said, “then my grandmother or my dad or my mom would go get a bigger one.”

The argument over what’s considered abuse and what’s considered discipline will never be over. Where do you draw the line, beauties?

Just a few days after Todd Tucker posted this Instagram picture of himself shopping for baby shoes, fueling his wife, Kandi Burruss’s pregnancy rumors, Todd’s mom, Sharon Tucker, says that the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star isn’t expecting.“As far as I know, I don’t think [Kandi is pregnant yet],” she said in an interview with RadarOnline. “I think they would have told me. I’m sure they would tell me once they are.” Yet! Hmmm, well at least we know the lovebugs are trying.

Kandi and Todd looked very much in love during their lavish wedding earlier this year, but Sharon says they are still just in the family planning phases. “I think they want to get pregnant,” she said. “I would love that, and I’m pretty sure if she does get pregnant, she’ll announce it on the show. It’s been a few months now, so it is possible, but, they were just [with me] and they didn’t say anything.”

Considering how adamant Kandi is about having a baby sometime this year, we personally think she’d be the first to announce it on the new season of the show, unless new cast member Claudia Jordan spills the beans! LOL. According to Kandi, Claudia will have a LOT to say this season.

In related Kandi news, she did something we all want to do one day in our lives–the reality star just bought Momma Joyce a house! Kandi posted a picture of her, her mother and the real estate agent who helped close the deal. She wrote the caption: “Just bought a new house for my mom @mamajjoyce.@b_luxurious helped us close the deal! Thanks girl!”
