The fatal shooting of unarmed teen, Michael Brown has outraged almost everyone with heart. President Obama recently released a statement about his untimely death and the responsibilities of the authorities to protect and serve. But many celebrities have jumped on social media to use their platforms for change. One of those celebs is John Legend. Yesterday, the “All Of Me” singer tweeted about the cops intentionally igniting the situation, claiming that they wanted “an excuse” to kill Blacks.
A news outlet, @IBNNNEWS tweeted to Legend that he should stay in his lane. Legend’s response was the best thing I’ve read all day. He proved why his voice matters in this tragic circumstance. What a class act! Check out his response below:
