Kerry Washington Has A Garden-Themed Baby Shower, It Was Probably Fabulous (We Weren’t Invited)
The head gladiator in charge, Kerry Washington(who’s a few months along and still looked fabulous at the NAACP Image Awards) celebrated her impending motherhood with a baby shower this weekend. According to reports, the “Scandal” actress invited 40 guests and accepted gifts from celebrity friends that were “wrapped in yellow, pink, blue and green.” Looks like the star didn’t tell anyone the gender of her baby just yet!
“About 40 guests, including Jane Fonda, sipped lemonade and champagne at the joyous event, according to a source…the mom-to-be may not have told her loved ones whether she’s expecting a baby girl or a baby boy. Guests arrived with gifts wrapped in yellow, pink, blue and green, including baskets containing baby clothes and plush stuffed animals.”
Maybe our invitation didn’t come in the mail in time because we totally would’ve been there, Kerry. Sorry, girl.

Nas, who seems like one of the most confident rappers ever, isn’t bitter about being nominated for 13 Grammys, but not receiving one. The icon spoke at a panel discussion for VH1‘s docu-series “The Tanning of America” about his attitude toward the pivotal music event and pretty much made us love him even more.
“I know the hugest platform for music is the Grammys, it matters . . . but something that huge is never gonna get it right. So it’s OK. It gives me the opportunity to wear a nice suit on a red carpet.”
He isn’t bitter about the Grammys, nor the young rappers in the game right now.
“As far as the state of rap music, it’s a lot of jingles . . . And that’s cool . . . I see a lot of young black kids making money, and I’m very happy with that.”
