Who Is Cynthia Bailey?
Cynthia Bailey is a model and businesswoman who stars on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
At the age of 18, the beautiful Atlanta native took a big leap and moved to New York City to work as a model. The risk paid off — she was signed by Wilhelmina Models and soon graced the cover of Essence magazine. From there, Cynthia’s career took off as she booked photo shoots and walked runways at fashion shows.
Cynthia also did a bit of acting, appearing in Sandra Bernhard’s “Without You I’m Nothing” and as Theo’s girlfriend in “The Cosby Show.”
She returned to her hometown, and joined the third season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” along with Phaedra Parks. She is particularly good friends with cast member NeNe Leakes.
Cynthia has a 10-year-old daughter, Noelle, from a relationship with actor Leon Robinson. During her first season on the reality show, she dated Atlanta businessman Peter Thomas and the two wed in the finale.
Now, Bailey is running her own modeling agency, and investing in husband Peter’s business ventures.
