On last night’s episode of “Basketball Wives”, it was time for all of the tension that had been brewing between Tami and the rest of the ladies to finally be released. While Tami was working on controlling her anger, she made it clear that she was no Mother Theresa and if she was pushed far enough, that “old Tami” would come back and pop someone! Whew chile, where do we even begin…
Flopped
Shaunie, Ev’s daughter, has made it extremely clear that she was no fan of her mother’s relationship with Chad and actually never really liked the guy in the first place. When Ev was photographed holding hands with Chad at an appreciation dinner on last week’s episode, Ev decided to have a sit down with her daughter to see how she felt about the situation. Shaunie assured her mom that she wasn’t concerned about the photographs because she knew her mom was in a smarter place than she was a few months prior. Ev told her daughter that she would “never in life deal with that again” and we sure hope that’s true. Ev then told her daughter that she married Chad because they had a great thing going on and she really loved him. Shaunie’s response? “Flopped! Like a pancake!” SMH.

Life Coach
Tami met with her life coach to vent and get advice on how to stop letting every little thing bother her. Her life coach asked her if she took everything people said about her personally and Tami responded that she did take things personally especially if they were said about her in her inner circle. She then figured that it was best to meet with Shaunie and Ev face to face to get all of her feelings off her chest. Tami also made a list of things that could potentially set her off and two of the things on the list were the wrong tone of voice and having hands put in her face. We’ve definitely seen Tami pop off if spoken to in the wrong tone or if a finger is being waved in her face, so we’ll have to say that these statements are quite accurate.
Face- off
Later in the episode, all five of the ladies met for dinner for the first time since they were all introduced to Tasha Marbury. This was the perfect opportunity for Tami to bring up the “really right or really wrong” statement and find out where Shaunie was coming from once and for all. Tasha told Tami that the statement did not plant a negative seed in her mind and Shaunie chimed in saying that she made the comment because both women have smart mouths. Ev then jumped in putting her hand in Tami’s face saying, “Boop!” If you’ve been paying attention in Tami 101, then you know that this is one of the things that sets Tami over the edge, and she did just that. Tami immediately stood up and got in Ev’s face threatening her to put her hand in her face again. Shaunie then jumped in to be the voice of reasoning telling Tami to calm down, and Tami then returned to her normal self.
After things calmed down a bit, Tasha’s jokes about Evelyn and Chad’s domestic drama were brought up. Ev told Tasha that she didn’t understand why she would joke about that situation and Tasha responded that she didn’t appreciate when Evelyn wrote about her and Stephon’s situation in her book – I guess in attempts to make their shade throwing equal. Tasha figured that she might as well air all her dirty laundry since they were on the topic and told Ev about the other joke she made about Ev’s head butt situation saying that she should wear helmets on dates now. Ev was surprised that Tasha would joke about such a sensitive subject and especially even more shocked that Suzie would laugh at the joke considering that Suzie was also a victim of domestic violence. Evelyn didn’t pop off at Suzie, didn’t yet a her and didn’t even say much too her except throw her the meanest side eye that let her know she meant business before gathering her belongings and exiting the room. Shame on you, ladies. Domestic violence is NEVER funny.
