“R&B Divas: LA” returned last night with a well needed trip to Las Vegas! While in the busy city, the girls relaxed, rested and found out new things about themselves that they never knew before! Find out what happened below:
What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas
Kelly Price planned a girls trip to Vegas where she hoped the ladies could rest, relax then turn up. She also encouraged the ladies to participate, with her, in a non-profit organization called “Broadway in the Hood.”
When the girls arrived in Vegas, and got settled into their suite at Planet Hollywood, Lil’ Mo couldn’t contain her excitement when she realized they were staying in the same place her son was conceived. (She promised it wouldn’t happen this time around! LOL) What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?!
Chante Moore Is Wonder Woman
After settling in, the girls met up by the pool for drinks and lunch. The only person missing was Chante, who had a grand entrance planned. When she finally arrived, she came in snatching wigs and giving life when she ripped off her clothes to reveal her full Wonder Woman inspired swim suit! Work it! On that note, the girls were ready to officially begin their trip.
After Chante put her clothes back on, the girls sat down for some serious talk. They talked about Chante’s upcoming book, “Will I Marry Me?” and her failed marriage. She wanted to write this book for herself and see if after she was finished with the story would she marry herself. Interesting..

Broadway In The Hood
The girls visited the “Broadway in the Hood” non-profit organization and sat in on their rehearsal as they were gearing up for a performance of “Dream Girls.” They answered questions and gave advice on how to make it in the entertainment industry. “Keep God first and everything else will fall into place,” Lil’ Mo advised. Can I get an Amen!? The ladies were so happy to help out with this organization and felt that it was their Godly duty to give back to these children who’ve looked up to them for so long!
Later in the episode, it was time for Broadway in the Hood’s performance. All of the girls were ready to go except for Kelly, who was running extremely late. When the girls arrived to the carpet sans Kelly it couldn’t have gotten any more awkward! The people wanted to see Kelly and Kelly only and weren’t here for the other divas. But the show must go on with or without Kelly! The ladies sat down and enjoyed the first part of the performance until they were asked to sing during the second half! The girls were extremely unhappy because they didn’t like doing things unprepared but they decided that they had to pull something together for the play. Dawn wasn’t having it at all and decided that she would watch from the audience. After the play, the ladies took the stage, sang and tore the house down in typical diva fashion! Talk about true professionals with the ability to pull off a strong performance without any rehearsal!
