What Does North West Mean?

Everybody, get your compasses out, it’s time for a directional lesson. North is no longer just a direction. It’s the highly debated name of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s first-born daughter. Rumors swirled the lucky spawn’s name was Kaidence Donda and or Kaidence Georgia Donda, but it’s now been confirmed that it’s the highest point in the history of points–North.

North’s grandmother on her mother’s side, Kris Jenner appeared on “The View” and decided to open up as to why Kim and Kanye chose the direction as the name of their child.

I love the name North. I’m pro-North. North means ‘highest power,’ and she says that North is [Kim and Kanye’s] highest point together,” and I thought that was really sweet.

You don’t walk around calling somebody, ‘Hi, North West.’ You know, it’s just North.

NeNe Leakes and her on-again-off-again hubby, Greg Leakes have tied the knot yet again and this time around, NeNe opted for a dress that was as big as her over-the-top personality. NeNe claims that this time around, she knows what to expect and happiness is certainly on the menu. This $1.8 million dollar wedding was totally worth every penny in her eyes. And her stunning dress was a whopping $50,000! The gorgeous gold and white Baracci dress was to die for!

“I feel amazing. Both of us want this, so it will definitely work this time. I know exactly what I’m getting myself into. It was more romantic this time than the first. Gregg and I are real adults, so it was better.”

Last month, Chris Brown and his former girlfriend, Karrueche Tran were in traffic accident with the pageant queen and while she attempted to take photos for insurance purposes, Chris allegedly grabbed the phone. But it was Breezy’s tattoos that scared her.

My blood pressure was so high. It was my first car accident ever and I’m a foreigner. I was so afraid. First of all when I first got out of the car he looked scary because it’s a big car and he has lots of tattoos so he looked kind of scary. Then, when everything happened, I got so frustrated and my blood pressure was so high. It was so hard for me emotionally.

Celebrity chef and unofficial Queen of Buttery Racism, Paula Deen has been having the worst week ever. From accusations of extreme racism to losing endorsement deals and top TV spots on the Food Network, her career is pretty much flailing. The latest to pull out? Novo Nordisk–the pharmaceutical company that manufactures Victoza, the Diabetes drug Deen’s promoted since she announced her Type 2 diagnosis last year.

Deen faced criticism for working with the company because she pushes unhealthy recipes, but was also cashing in on her illness. Novo Nordisk claimed that they weren’t dropping Deen because of the racist headlines, however, that tune has changed. This is what they had to say:

Novo Nordisk and Paula Deen have mutually agreed to suspend our patient education activities for now, while she takes time to focus her attention where it is needed.

Novo Nordisk would like to acknowledge Paula’s involvement in our Diabetes in a New Light™ campaign, where she has helped make many people aware of type 2 diabetes and the lifestyle changes needed to control this serious disease.

Well, I guess that’s how the cookie with way too much butter and cream, crumbles.
