I am always on-the-go and looking for ways to make my travels more efficient and comfortable. I went on a search for some new (or new to us) finds to make your next journey, whether stateside or overseas, a little easier! You’re welcome.

1. Mophie

Hands down, my number one travel accessory is the Mophie. Not only is it a light and sleek design with a protective exterior that has saved my screen from cracking more times then I care to remember, but the Mophie can take your battery from dead to fully charged with no outlet or charger necessary. Yep, its all in the case. Having access to full battery power when you’re traveling can be a lifesaver.

For more information, check out Mophie!

2. The Pocket Monkey

Pocket Monkey by Zootility Tools is a one ounce, 12-in-one tool that fits easily into your wallet and is TSA friendly. Phone kickstand, flat screw driver, bottle opener, Micro screwdriver, door latch slip, letter opener, Phillips screwdriver and ruler are just a few of its functions. I initially took this on a trip to L.A. with me for its screwdriver abilities (the screws in my favorite sun glasses keep loosening) but now it’s a mainstay in my wallet and comes in handy regularly.

For more information, check out The Pocket Monkey!

3. The Ninja Standing Desk

When I travel, my Macbook goes everywhere I go, so typically you can find me hunched over in a hotel bed or leaning against an airport terminal wall typing away like a mad woman. I recently got a chance to use The Ninja standing desk on a trip and it turned out to be just what my achy back needed. Coming in its own small carry-on bag and taking just a few moments to set up, The Ninja Standing Desk can hook onto the back on any door, support your computer and keyboard and then get tucked conveniently away.

 4. JT Smart Android Phone

In spring I was in Europe for about 3 weeks and in between Instagraming and tweeting my travels, my cell phone bill ended up costing me 10 times what it it normally would thanks to overseas roaming. Well Telestial wireless solutions for travelers has come up with its own solution to problems just like that. The JT Smart Android phone comes with dual SIM card functionality, so travelers can use a home SIM card and an international SIM card to ensure that you get the lowest available roaming and data rates and never miss a call when traveling abroad. Plus the phone includes an activity monitor, so you’ll be able to keep track of exactly how much data is being used on the move.

5. Beats Pill

This little pill comes with a big sound and in just about any color you can dream up. It’s made in a reasonably small size for stowing away in your carry on or in your purse. It’s also Bluetooth enabled so you can take phone calls on it (great for conference calls for work related travel).

For more information, check out Beats By Dre!

6. Genius Packer 22 Inch Carry On

This carry-on is the stuff travelers dreams are made of! Patent-pending Laundry Compression Technology™, engineered organizational panel, permanent checklist, battery power pack, magazine holder…the list of thoughtful design features goes on and on. If you’re a naturally organized person you’ll feel right at home, and if you’re not, this back definitely entourages efficient travel!

For more information, check out Genius Packer!

7. Travel Stix

Travel Stix is a small and convenient way to have your legal, travel and medical documents with you when you travel. About the size of a credit card, Travel Stix is a 2gb flashdrive, pre-embeded USB. This is now one of the most vital pieces I travel with on overseas trips.

For more information, check out My Travel Stix!

 8. Safety Tats

This is awesome for parents of young children and even for care takers of people who suffer from memory lapse or dementia. Safety Tats are hypoallergenic, medical grade temporary child id tattoos that can be placed on the skin (usually arm) of your child or loved one and provides a highly visible form of identification that stays in place even when wet!

For more information, check out Safety Tats!

9. Cool Off

Using 17 natural herbs, botanicals and essential oils, Cool Off is an infused towelette that can reduce skin temperature 12 degrees in minutes. These are portable enough to pack in your purse everyday during the summer and great to have on hand when traveling. Especially on family vacations. I tend to get overheated on stuffy planes during flight boarding, the recycled air, the people-pushing buy…UGH. A swipe of these is a relaxing and cool way to start to trip.

For more information, check out Cool Off!

10. Tepper Jackson Luggage I.D. tags

I’m a big fan of eye-catching luggage tags. I usually make mine out of old packaging from purses and shoes (last winder Louis Vuitton used about 5 feet of neon rainbow colored ribbon on a gift I received which has since been turned into luggage tags for the whole fam). Eye catching luggage tags save you time when that sea of black and navy blue luggage is unleaded onto the conveyor belt in baggage. Tepper Jackson has a great variety of some of the brightest and most unique I’ve seen (I have the “Jet Set” ones).
