Michelle Obama’s hair is such a big topic of conversation, despite more pressing optics that are going on in our world. Who needs to discuss the amount of rape in India, when FLOTUS’ bangs are in her face! No, seriously! During a recent speech, Michelle’s grown-out bangs were casually pushed to the side and affectionately called “fringe,” when Twitter took to complaining about her hair.

During a televised speech by Michelle Obama at the G8 Summit in Belfast, the issues were ignored and the great hair debate about her bothersome bangs erupted. The speech revolved around children, students and graduates to step outside their comfort zones and challenge the status quo to help create lasting peace in Northern Ireland. Too bad Michelle’s swoop that wouldn’t stay out of her eyes was more pressing.
