Rihanna is being eyed by a production company called Noosa Films to play legendary singer and actress Josephine Baker in an upcoming biopic.

In a statement, producer W Lance Reynolds said the 25-year-old is his top pick to bring the iconic performer back to life.
“Rihanna is one of the most talented performers of this millennium and with her unique acting and performing abilities, I have no doubt she will bring Josephine back to life on the big screen,” he said.
We are sure this decision is based on RiRi’s fame and not her acting abilities. The “Pour It Up” singer made her big screen debut in Battleship last year, and her performance received mediocre reviews — definitely not better than Lynn Whitfield’s portrayal of civil rights activist in the 1991 TV film The Josephine Baker Story.
Baker is best known as the first African-American woman in a film and for her work in Paris cabarets in the 1920s and 30s. She died in her sleep in 1975 at age 68.
Do you think RiRi can pull it off?
