Angie Stone Breaks Out Her Holy Oil! ‘R&B Divas’ [RECAP]

One word to sum up this week’s episode of “R&B Divas”: DRAMA! This time, Angie Stone and LaTocha Scott joined the cast, but that didn’t stop the girl’s from showing their true colors. They say first impressions mean everything and considering all of the drama that Angie and LaTocha witnessed between the ladies on their first encounter with them as a group, it’s safe to say that they are in for a wild ride! Find out what happened below:

Get To Steppin’!

Although Faith Evans was noticeably missing from last week’s episode, she made her season two debut last night. First, she hit the studio with Syleena so they could talk about the drama that went down last week at Syleena’s house between her and Nicci. When Syleena told Faith how she kicked Nicci out of her house, Faith wasn’t the least bit surprised. She knew these ladies probably wouldn’t ever get along but she worried about how they would ever pull of an ‘R&B Divas’ tour. Faith, being the peacemaker of the group, decided to bring her girl Angie Stone into the equation, hopefully to knock some sense into the ladies!

Angie Stone Breaks Out The Holy Oil

Later, all of the ladies met for dinner to talk about the tour and Faith brought along Angie Stone to convince the girls that it was good idea. Things were going great until Angie began talking about drama between women in the music industry and Keke thought she was directly speaking to her. As the night went on, Nicci and Syleena somehow switched the focus back to their ongoing feud and the conversation got very heated fast! At that point, only God could save this dinner so queue to Angie bringing out her holy oil, anointing all of the girls and praying to God that they would all be able to get along for the rest of the night. Angie’s prayers were soon answered because the girls stopped arguing and left the restaurant in peace- at least for the time being.

Another Sanging Diva Added To The Group of Sanging Divas

LaTocha Scott, formerly of Xscape, also joined the cast this episode and sided up to Keke pretty fast. The two found out that they had a lot in common and realized that they were both managed by their husbands. While on a shopping trip, LaTocha and Keke decided that it would be a great idea for the four of them to double date so they could get to know each other a little better. LaTocha knew Keke was a little crazy, but she was willing to give her and her husband a try. When LaTocha and her husband met with Keke and her husband, they seemed to hit it off pretty fast until Keke started talking about her and her husband’s working and personal relationship. LaTocha realized that she and Keke were different in how they handled their husbands and Keke let everybody know right off the bat that she was a tripper and not to be messed with. Overall, the dinner went well and the couples toasted to new friends and happiness.

Drama, Drama and More Drama!

Angie brought all of the girls together for dinner one last time to try and fix whatever drama happened the last time all of the girls together. Since Angie was the oldest diva, she felt like it was her responsibility to fix the girls’ problems. Only problem was that Keke was not hearing it. She didn’t like the way Angie spoke to her and felt like Angie thought the rest of the girls were children and could speak to them anyway she wanted. Keke got up from the table and stormed off refusing to listen to whatever Angie had to say. Nicci finally managed to convince Keke to come back to the table and Angie apologized, but Keke wasn’t trying to hear it. It doesn’t look like this tour is happening any time soon!
