Kenya Accuses Walter Of Sending Her Flirtatious Text Messages! ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta Part 3 Reunion Special’ [RECAP]

Part three of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion special brought the drama and the tears! With the husbands joining the special to back their wives (sans Walter and Kordell), things couldn’t have been more interesting! Porsha spoke about her controlling husband, Peter defended Walter against Kenya’s homosexual claims and Apollo accused Kenya of trying to get with him behind Phaedra’s back! Check out some of the highlights below:

Were Kenya & Walter Really A Couple?

Kenya and Walter’s “relationship” was always up for debate: were they actually a couple or did Kenya ask Walter to come on the show and pretend to be her boyfriend for the sake of her story line? Needless to say, we weren’t the only ones on the fence about Walter and Kenya’s relationship as most of the cast members didn’t believe they were together either. Nene especially didn’t believe it because of their lack of chemistry and Phaedra didn’t believe it since she was freely flirting with every man on the show – including her husband Apollo! Still, Kenya insisted that she and Walter were actually a couple, but believed that Walter only wanted to come on the show to become “famous” and use her name. Peter and the rest of the guys came to Walter’s defense and stated that Walter didn’t seem like the fame-hungry type and that Kenya was lying yet again. Andy then asked Kenya about her current love life and if she was seeing anyone at the moment. Since Kenya can’t ever give a straight answer to anything without adding the dramatics, she started crying and explained that she was in a very happy place in her life right now, alluding to the fact that she indeed had a new man but didn’t want to talk about it. She receives the ultimate side-eye of the night.

Kenya Accuses Walter Of Being Homosexual

While we’re on the subject of Walter and Kenya’s relationship, who could forget Kenya’s accusations that Walter was homosexual and if she had pecks instead of breasts he might be attracted to her. Surprisingly, all of the husbands defended Walter since he wasn’t there to defend himself, and called Kenya out on her BS. They confronted Kenya about talking bad about Walter after she was obsessed over marrying him all season long. Sounds a little childish right? Cue the dramatics – Kenya’s response was a couple of twirls with the flick of her fan while repeating the phrase, “I’m gone with the wind fabulous!” Looks like Kenya will try anything to keep herself relevant SMH!

Was Apollo Really Texting Kenya?

The shadiest part of the reunion was when Kenya and Apollo revealed that they had a secret texting relationship. Apollo stated that he stopped caring for Kenya after their business deal fell through, and Kenya responded saying that Apollo should stop texting her then! Apollo then got defensive and accused Kenya of sending HIM inappropriate messages and stalking him in hotels! Kenya claimed that Apollo was the one making advances to her and always initiated flirtatious text messages.  Kenya claimed that she had proof in her phone and threatened to show everyone the text messages if Apollo didn’t admit to his infidelity and Peter asked why did she even entertain the text messages (if they indeed happened) if she knew that Apollo was a married man! Phaedra – this is your cue, girl! For any of us who thought Apollo deserved the ultimate side-eye at this moment, Phaedra chimed in and stated that her husband told her all about Kenya’s text messages which was reason enough for her to call Kenya a whore. I guess the Southern- Belle role goes out the window when if comes to her man, because Phaedra was not here for Kenya lying on her husband, pregnant and all!

Porsha Defends Her Marriage

Porsha’s husband, Kordell, wasn’t able to attend the reunion special due to a work commitment but Porsha held it down for the both of them. Peter pointed out that Kordell should have been there to support his wife, just as the rest of the men were there supporting theirs–regardless of their commitments. Peter’s comment definitely foreshadowed the unfortunate events that followed and sparked the discussion of Kordell and Porsha’s marriage. Porsha defended Kordell and told everyone that he was not controlling like it was portrayed on television and was a very good man just as she was a very good wife. She then went on to say that although her marriage wasn’t perfect, she took an oath in front of everybody to be with Kordell forever and that she was going to work hard to make her marriage work and she would carry her marriage on to the fullest.
