Blue Ivy For President? Beyonce Tells Her Daughter She Can Be POTUS One Day

As the daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter is already Hollywood royalty. However, her mother has even higher hopes for her precious 1-year-old.

Beyonce is the spokesperson of Gucci’s “Chime For Change” campaign, which urges women to come together for global issues, and in a new video the superstar said she tells her daughter that she can be commander-in-chief one day.

“I’m telling my daughter every day, ‘You know you can be president, you know it’s possible,'” the self-proclaimed modern-day feminist said. “I know she has no idea why I’m saying that, but at one-year-old, I’m like, ‘You know you can be president’…I have always felt strongly about equal opportunity for women. Girls have to be taught from early on that they are strong and capable of being anything they want to be.”
