Whose song is it anyways?
Rich Dollaz finally had enough of Erica Mena‘s charm and did exactly what he should have done, weeks ago–let her go–business and personal wise. Erica confided in Yandy, who told pointed out her wrongdoings–taking a booking without paying Rich his managerial fee. Erica made an attempt at reconciliation, but was blindsided when she realized Rich gave her love ballad to Olivia–who sang it better. Things didn’t end well, but previews to next week, and the fact that Erica’s song is on iTunes with her vocals, lets us know who won the war.
Raqi vs Rashidah
After being acquitted of charges related to an event involving the slashing of a bodyguard’s face, Rashidah confronted Raqi at a charity event about spreading rumors and gossiping about her. Rashidah called Raqi out for being an industry whore, and Raqi called Rashidah, Ronald McDonald.
Light Skin is the right skin
In this current age, when the debate about skin color is a prevalent issue in the black community, it is dangerous to rap about the “right skin.” Some will argue, “the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice,” unless that person is Consequence who, clearly, is into the white skin. Hence, his baby’s mother Jen. On last night’s episode he dropped a verse on Lore’l’s song with the lyrics “light skin is the right skin, so you, you, you, you and your white friend.” It’s all to reminiscent of Jen “The Pens” comment about being alright because of her race. As Raqi said “she’s his white nubian queen.”
