The Carters‘ are continuing their journey toward monopolization as they expand their empire to further heights after signing major publishing deals with Warner/Chappell Music! “It’s an honor to join Warner/Chappell Music and to continue working with my friend Jon Platt,” said Beyonce in an official statement. “I trust his vision and admire his professionalism, and I look forward to our partnership,” she continued. The publishing house, who capitalized the market share in the second quarter of last year, will administer her future songwriting including her forthcoming album, reports Billboard.

Earlier this week Jay-Z and his imprint Roc Nation signed a worldwide publishing administration venture with Warner. “The real meaning of success is being in the position to work with an individual you consider a friend,” said Jay. “Jon Platt is such a person. He’s a man of extraordinary character as well as a remarkably talented executive with an ear for music and an eye for talent. It’s great to watch him grow to be one the best in the business.”
