Lady Gaga Cancels Tour

Lady Gaga has canceled the rest of her tour dates due to a hip injury. Gaga has been forced to cancel the remainder of her Born This Way Ball Tour, after suffering a labral tear in her right hip, concert promoter Live Nation Global Touring announced on its website on Wednesday Feb. 13.

The pop star’s website showed 21 dates through March 20 remaining on her “Born This Way Ball” tour schedule. Fans who have already bought tickets will receive a refund beginning Thursday.

Get well soon Gaga!

President Obama To Speak At Morehouse 2013 Commencement

President Obama will deliver the commencement address this spring at all-male Morehouse College in Atlanta, the alma mater of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

The White House confirmed to Politico:

“Morehouse College, one of the nation’s leading Historical Black Colleges and Universities, is among the best and brightest institutions of higher education in the country,” the White House said in a statement. Commencement is scheduled for May 19.

“Known for its high standard for excellence in learning and social consciousness, Morehouse is home to a long list of notable alumni that spans the last three centuries,” the White House added. Alumni of the all-male liberal arts college include Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., filmmaker Spike Lee and Maynard Jackson, the first African-American mayor of Atlanta.

Commencement is scheduled for May 19.

First lady Michelle Obama gave a commencement speech to 550 Spelman College graduates in 2011.

President Obama To Speak At Morehouse 2013 Commencement
