I am impatiently waiting for my favorite black supermodel, Joan Smalls to grace the cover of Vogue US. But for now we will have to settle for this stunning cover for Vogue Brasil. She’s one of a few working African American models in the world and she’s sending 2012 off with a few fab mag covers.

The 24-year-old beauty and host of MTV’s House Of Style, covers Vogue Brasil’s January 2013 “Black Issue” in all black wearing a bit of oxblood on her lips and tips. Adores! The cover was shot by Henrique Gendre. Joan just makes me heart sings!
