Keyshia Cole, Brandy & Ciara To Perform At “Black Girls Rock”
As a black girl (who rocks) I appreciate BET’s effort to highlight us in a positive light, even if it is only once a year.
Last year, “Black Girls Rock” made it’s debut and for one night, black women of all successes and shades united in the Bronx, New York for a night of praise and entertainment. Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King, who hosted the last one, signed on to head the ceremony again. Keyshia Cole, Brandy, India Arie and Ciara will light the stage up with soulful performances. Among the honorees are: Alicia Keys for the Rock Star Award; Kerry Washington for her Star Power Award; and Dionne Warwick for being a Living Legend Award.
“Black Girls Rock” will air on November 4, 2012 @ 8:00 pm/ET
