Viola Davis: “I Was Absolutely A Troublemaker, I Spent Every Day In Detention!” [VIDEO]
So here’s a shocker! We caught up with Viola Davis at the junket for “Won’t Back Down” and asked the regal and stunningly beautiful actress what she was like in school. Davis dished, that as a public school elementary school student, she was “not good at all.” Gasp! What?! We thought the talented actress would have been a straight A student who was outshining first graders regularly! Ā She goes on to admit that she spent a good amount of time in detention and hid plenty of pink slips from her parents. Ā In “Won’t Back Down,” Davis plays Nona Alberts, a determined mother who rediscovers her passion for teaching in her attempt to takeover the failing John Adams school. Ā Davis recalls her own “Nona,” the director of an Upward Bound program who has been instrumental in her life. Ā Watch the clip below:
